Announcing Calvin Ray’s First Release On BSW Records

BSW Records president FRANK WILLSON has announced the labels shipping of CALVIN RAY’S first single, “I SHOULD HAVE BEEN SINGING”, written by Leona Williams, Lance Miller and Austin Cunningham. WILLSON went on to explain that the material is a good strong country song that can play on gospel stations as well as country stations and make for good programing.

BSW is also shipping the new C.D., “TAKE THAT CHANCE”, The product is being shipped in the United States as well as thirty five foriegn countrys. The entire project was produced by Jim Vest at Bucks Place in Hendersonville, Tennessee. JERRY DUNCAN RECORD PROMOTION will also be working with BSW Records promotion team on the new release.

Once in a while you find a person that is very special because they have that very special positive attitude, loads of personality and they have a lot of God given talent for anything they do. Calvin Ray is just such a person. He is 27 years old and an outstanding dynamic singer as well as an entertainer. It even gets better because he is a very intelligent young man that know exactly where he’s going and how to get there. He is already on his way to becoming a household name in the world of entertainment.
For a number of years now, Calvin has worked with Jerry Lewis on the Muscluar Dystrophy National Telethon. Always performing on the prime time segment with the whos who in the entertainment world, his favorite performance was with Kermit the Frog when they did a duet together. Besides performing on the telethons, Calvin has been a driving force to help raise funds to work to find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.
In 2004 Calvin along with his parents, Max and Debbie, opened a Country Music Theater and Restaurant that will rival anything you will find Branson. It is a state of the art entertainment center that has hosted such acts as Don Williams, Pam Tillis, Joe Diffy, Ronnie McDowell, Little Jimmy Dickens, Ricky Van Shelton and the list goes on. Calvin also is found performing there himself on a regular basis, when he is not performing road dates. He has also made it possible to help young acts that are trying to get started in the music industry by using them along with the regular show. The theater is located in Leitchfield, KY on the Blue Moon of Kentucky Highway, Highway 62. The Country Music Theater is proudly named after Calvin, Calvin Ray’s Live Music and the restaurant has some of the best food you will ever have the pleasure of eating.
Calvin manages the show room and restaurant as well as performing on stage whenever he can. Even with his busy schedule, he has just completed his latest CD to be released soon with veteran music producer Jim Vest in Nashville, TN. Calvin has a very busy schedule and always gets done what he starts without exception. Calvin has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy but he doesn’t let that slow him down.
